Jeff brings over 30 years of experience to Maynards Industries. As the President of Appraisal Services, he is responsible for managing the machinery and equipment valuation team at Maynards. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the ASA and a Certified Equipment Appraiser with the AMEA. He has been involved in and managed 1000’s of machinery & equipment valuations throughout North America, Mexico and Canada throughout his career. with Norman Levy Associates, DoveBid Valuation Services, GoIndustry Valuation Services, Liquidity Services, Inc., and Maynards.
Michael R. Ostrom, ASA, CEA, ARM-MTS
Managing Director | Appraisal Services
Michael brings over 25 years of experience to Maynards Industries. His knowledge comes from years in machinery and equipment valuations, auctions and liquidations during his career with DoveBid Valuation Services, Greystone & Co., Lakonia Machinery Appraisals and Maynards. Mr. Ostrom is responsible for managing machinery and equipment valuation projects. He has been involved in and managed tangible asset valuations throughout the world for many Global 4000 corporations, prominent financial institutions, law firms and private equity firms.
Randy Baumbach, CEA

Randy brings his CEA (Certified Equipment Appraiser) designation and over 15 years of industry experience (both auction & appraisal) to the Maynards team. In his role, Randy is primarily accountable to grow and support our appraisal line of business. His knowledge and expertise comes from years of machinery and equipment valuations, auctions, liquidations, and private sales during his career with Hoff Online Auctions, Hoff Appraisal Associates and Method Valuation & Consulting.
Doris Toronyi, CEA
Senior Appraiser | Appraisal Services
Doris is a CEA (Certified Equipment Appraiser) with over 15 years of industry experience (both auction & appraisal). Doris is currently servicing as the 1st Vice President of the Board of the Association of Machinery & Equipment Appraisers (AMEA). She brings a wealth of experience and connections to the Maynards team. In her role, Doris is accountable to grow and support our appraisal line of business. Her knowledge and expertise comes from years of machinery and equipment valuations, auctions, liquidations, and private sales during her career with Liquid Asset Partners, a Tier II Automotive Supplier and a Fortune 500 Company. She is also a member of the Equipment Appraisers of North America (EANA) organization.
Jean-Paul “JP” Bertram, AM
Appraiser | Appraisal Services
JP’s vast and diverse background gained from his 29 years of Naval service is a huge contribution to the Maynards team. In his role, JP is working as an Appraiser to support our Appraisal Services line of business. His comprehensive background includes contributing to domestic and global operations in the areas of Logistics, Operations, and Project Management. He has been recognized for his extensive knowledge in the areas of Process Improvement and Strategic Planning – most notably for overseeing a project that included managing risk upon multiple lines in a foreign country to protect assets, property, and equipment valued at over $10M. JP is an Associate Member of the AMEA and is currently in the process of completing additional professional designations.
